Profile
Jenny Weekes is a former fire service spokesperson who understands what it means to communicate clearly when the stakes are high.
Over the course of her career, she has led communication efforts during hundreds of incidents ranging from wildfires and natural disasters to train derailments, plane crashes, line-of-duty deaths, arsons, fatalities, vehicle collisions, and complex internal incidents. These experiences shaped her approach to crisis communication: calm, clear, and grounded in real-world operations.
Today, Jenny works with organizations to strengthen crisis readiness through communication assessments, leadership training, and strategic advisory support. Her work helps leadership teams communicate with confidence in both everyday moments and high-stakes situations.
Jenny holds both a Bachelorโs and Masterโs degree in Communications and is a graduate of FEMAโs Executive Public Information Officer Program. She and her husband live in the Pacific Northwest with their two amazing daughters and a pair of very ridiculous dogs. When they arenโt working, theyโre usually planning their next road trip to somewhere with water, mountains โ or both.
