Jenny Weekes is the founder of Hartwood Communications, a strategic communications firm that helps organizations prepare for high-stakes moments, strengthen everyday communication, and build public trust.

A former fire service spokesperson, Jenny brings real-world experience leading communication efforts during hundreds of incidents, from wildfires and natural disasters to train derailments and complex organizational issues. Today, she leads a team of communications professionals with experience across law enforcement, emergency management, public health, education, and other public-sector environments where clear, timely communication matters.

Together, the Hartwood Communications team helps organizations strengthen crisis readiness, improve communication systems, and equip leaders to communicate clearly and confidently when it matters most. Their work includes communication assessments, leadership and crisis communication training, strategic advisory support, and crisis preparedness.
